Findji+Gras (artist duo)
As the artist duo Findji+Gras, we, Cyane Findji and Myriam Gras, wish to connect artistic and scientific research by fostering long term, interdisciplinary dialogue and share narratives that deepen environmental awareness. Our work gathers diverse human-and-other voices, perspectives, and experiences to address the complex and interconnected nature of ecosystems and infrastructures.

While climate change is a planetary issue, our projects ground it in personal stories, showing how local scientific studies contribute to our global understanding. To effectively address the climate crisis, we believe that we need more than just data, we need compelling narratives that give meaning to the alarming numbers. Storytelling and filmmaking, for us, are not only an outcome but a form of intervention that creates context, access and space for dialogue across disciplines.

Rather than framing ecological change through stories of loss and extinction, our multilayered and multimedia projects mean to share hope and inspiration for a more inclusive, collaborative, and emotionally engaged approach to science and environmental change.
